The optional banquet will be held on Saturday, June 20, at 7 PM

in the Restaurant “Chłopskie Jadło” (“Peasants Chow”) at ul. św. Agnieszki 1.


Note: there is also another Chłopskie Jadło in Kraków, close to the main Market Square (Stary Rynek). It is a different franchise of the small network


We have been proposed a choice of three menus.

  1. 1.A meat menu (100 zl): a bouquet of traditional dishes

  2. Snack: rye bread and fried lard // chleb ze smalcem

  3. Entrée: Genuine Polish forest mushroom soup with cream and original pasta squares

  4. // Grzybowa z grzybów prawdziwych ze śmietaną i łazankami

  5. Main dish: the Country Trough. The Trough will tempt you with juicy pieces of sirloin, beef roulades, roll – ups with ham and cheese, Angel Wings (chicken wings fried in garlic butter with sesame), pork stuffed with prunes, roasted knuckles of pork, traditional cottage cheese “Bacówka”, polish “pierogi”, potato dumplings, crispy potatoes, buckwheat, and boiled potatoes.

  6. // Niecka Chłopska, a w niej między innymi pieczona golonka, ziobro pieczone, soczyste kawałki polędwicy, zrazy polskie, zawijaniec z szynką i serem, Skrzydła Anioła (skrzydełka z kurczaka w maśle czosnkowym z sezamem), wieprzowina nadziewana śliwkami, ser Bacówka, pierogi, kopytka, ziemniaki pieczone, kasza gryczana i ziemniaki gotowane.

  7. One big Trough is served for four people, who chose from it what they wish to try.

  8. The Trough is accompanied by a choice of salads.

  3. Snack: rye bread without fried lard // chleb bez smalcu

  4. Entrée: Genuine Polish forest mushroom soup with cream and original pasta squares

  5. Main dish: A bowl of hand-made filled pierogi (so-called in Poland “Ruthenian style” and cabbage)

  6. // Pierogowa micha (ruskie i z kapustą)

  7. The bowl is accompanied by a choice of salads.

  8. Dessert: Apple Pie // szarlotka and tea or coffee


  9. 3. A vegan menu (65 zl)

  10. Snack: rye bread without fried lard // chleb bez smalcu

  11. Main dish: Bouquet of vegetables

  12. Dessert: Tea or coffee

Unfortunately, traditional Polish cuisine is hardly vegan-friendly. We cannot any truly vegan Polish dessert, and most soups require cream.

All menus include bottled water (1 l per person) and a glass of wine. All additional drinks must be ordered individually. Please, chose your menus through the Information Form.
